ASMBYC Homeport Regatta
Del Rey Yacht Club, IOBG

Pre-Race Seminar Tuesday, May 2 (PMYC)
Race Day, Sunday May 7 (DRYC)

The  ASMBYC Homeport Regatta has been turning boaters into racers on the waters of Marina del Rey by providing a no-cost introduction to this exciting facet of the sport. Homeport Regatta is tailored to novice skippers and sponsored by IOBG (International Order of the Blue Gavel) and DRYC (Del Rey Yacht Club). Eligible skippers will have basic boat-handling skills and will have been at the helm for no more than one ORCA, One Design, PHRF race or two Cruiser-class races within the last 12 months.

Homeport Regatta is a two-day event: The pre-race seminar on Tuesday 2 may  at 6:30 PM  at PMYC will go over the rules you need to know, as well as many other helpful insights for your first race. This seminar is strongly recommended for skippers who have never raced before. May 7th is race day.  Racers will meet at Del Rey Yacht Club at 9:00 AM for pre-race instructions and then head out in their boats to go racing.
When you register - please just enter what information you have - updates will be made at skippers meeting 9am at dryc.

Torphies and BBQ follow the race.  Cost for BBQ $12 per person.
