CAPTAIN MIKE’S FAMOUS “3 HOUR TOUR”
AM Workshop
Captain Mike Blecher Workshop Leader
Capt. Mike has developed a three-hour celestial navigation course in which anyone who can add and subtract can acquire enough skill and knowledge to obtain a “fix” using only a sextant and tables. The course eliminates the usual esoteric science and theory, and instead focuses on “thinking like a navigator,” and boils everything down to simple, easy to understand concepts.

This is an essential tool for the safety of your vessel as well as your personal seagoing fulfillment and special enjoyment of sky gazing while offshore.

DANCING WITH THE STARS
PM Workshop
“Dancing With the Stars” takes what is covered in the Three Hour Tour and applies those techniques to the celestial night sky, enabling the navigator to identify stars, take sextant observations, and ultimately use these to fix your vessel’s position.  (The Three Hour Tour is prerequisite).
